Greg Kain, Owner and Operator of Kain's Fishing Adventures, Inc., is one of those entrepreneurs who followed his heart and ended up doing what he loves best – what we all love – fishing. Greg has more than 20 years experience leading fishing adventures. 13 years of that time has been spent fishing the waters of Sitka Sound.
Over those years, he's taken what he learned at an early age and applied it to the success of Kain's Fishing Adventures & Lodge. After buying his first boat at the age of 15, Greg was hooked. Upon graduation from High School and a four-year machinists apprenticeship, he began to guide area waters part time. The minute he took time off from work to guide for salmon in the Northwest was the turning point. Lucky for all of us, he's taken that enthusiasm and created fishing experiences of a lifetime.

Deckhands are the lifeblood of every Kain vessel. Our deckhands are eager to bait your hooks, teach you the best techniques, net your fish, bleed and ice your catch on the spot and keep the deck clean and free of hazards at all times. They're job is to maximize your fishing time. When you see them in action, you'll see why we rely so heavily on their expertise and energy.
