QWhat kind of boats do you use?
AWe employ four 30-32 foot Almar fishing boats with 360-degree walk-arounds that comfortably fish up to six guests.
QDo I need to bring my own equipment?
ANo. We provide everything, including: rods, reels, tackle, licenses, rain gear, and boots.
QIs airfare included in your package?
ANo. There are daily flights into Sitka from Seattle, Washington. Contact Alaska Airlines/Horizon Air at 800-426-0333 for more info about flights and baggage restrictions.
QIs my license included?
AYes, your Alaska fishing license and Chinook salmon stamp are included in your package.
QDo I share a room?
AAll of our rooms are double-occupancy. Each room has a private bathroom and two, extra-long twin beds (not bunk beds).
QIs fish processing included?
AYes, we filet, vacuum pack, freeze and box your catch for your return flight home.
QHow many people are on each boat?
AIf you book a group of 4–6 people, the boat is yours. If there are fewer than 4 of your, we'll mix you with another group.
QDo your boats have a toilet?
QDo you pick us up at the airport when we arrive?
AYes, we provide all ground transportation.
QHow do I get my fish home?
AYou will check it as luggage on the plane.
QIs there extra airline charges for excess luggage?
AYes, check with your airline carrier for a current fee schedule.
QIs alcohol provided?
ANo, but we provide the mixers and ice.
QHow long do we fish each day?
AWe fish 8-10 hours a day.
