Handling of Your Catch
Reel in a prize catch aboard one of our boats here in Sitka, Alaska and you won't have to clean it. That's because we do the work for you. And we do it right.
We start by bleeding the fish when it's landed.Then we clean and ice each fish on the boat. At the dock we fillet the day's catch. We vacuum pack the fish using commercial packers and heavy bags for a long life and freshness.
We then flash freeze the fish to 30 degrees below zero, and box everything to airline specifications. That way it can accompany you back home as checked baggage. Our meticulous care of the catch has been praised by many of our clients, not only on the boat, but when they get home and enjoy the freshness of each piece. In addition, each vacuum pack bag is clearly marked identifying the species.
